Diese Band aus Belgien hat einen hart rockenden Bass, Noise-Elemente und einen guten Drive. Eine gute Mischung aus HELMET, TOOL, vielleicht ein wenig MOTÖRHEAD. Und wenn ich in die Promomail schaue: Treffer 😉
Man merkt der Produktion an, daß die Herren es aus Leidenschaft tun. Aufgenommen im Proberaum, einige kleinere Labels am Start. Im Januar wird nun die LP gepresst. Als CD oder als download (free!!!) kann man sich das reinziehen. Die Band gründete sich aus einigen bekannteren belgischen Bands 2012. Sie haben schon 2 EP’s und eine LP “Don’t panic” raus.
Ich mag die Parts, die sich anhören wie auf der “strap it on” von Helmet anno dazumal. Manchmal nur ein Akkord, ein treibender Beat. Die MISSILES OF OCTOBER, benannt wohl nach dem Film von 1974 über die Cuba-Krise, spielen einige Songs sehr punkig nach vorne, andere wieder sind 7 Minuten lang.
Überraschungen also garantiert!

This Band from Belgium has a hard rocking Bass, Noise-elements and a good drive. A nice mixture of bands like HELMET, TOOL or a bit of MOTÖRHEAD. And when i read the promomail again: hit it!
When you hear this release, you can feel the passion of these guys for their music. Surely recorded in their rehearsal-room, a few labels release this LP. Will be pressed in January. You can get it now as CD or as a free download on the bandcampsite! Band was formed in 2012. Before “better days” they released 2 EP’s and a LP “don’t panic”
I like the parts which remind me on the “strap it on” album of HELMET back in the days! Sometimes just one chord and a driving beat. MISSILES OF OCTOBER, probably named after a film about the cuba-missile-crisis play some songs straight forward punk and others are 7 minutes long.
